Valdete Daka was born on 19th of April 1961 in Mitrovica.
Has graduated from Law Faculty in University of Prishtina as well has passed the Bar exam. Is a judge of career and currently serves as Judge of Supreme Court of Republic of Kosovo. Previously she has worked in Municipal Court of Prizren and later in District Court of Prizren in criminal and juvenile fields. For several years she has been a member of Kosovo Judicial Council.
Has been certified by Council of Europe as a trainer for judges and prosecution regarding The European Convention on Human Rights and Freedoms. At the same time she is a certified expert on this field.
In December 2017, in behalf of CEC, Daka has accepted the International Electoral Prize (first place) in the category of “Election Management”, in a ceremony organized by International Center for Parliamentary Studies (ICPS).
She has participated in different study visits and conferences with international character in field of elections and justice.
